While we’re on the topic of tropical islands………
We recently went back to Benquarra Island in Mozambique to recompile a virtual tour for them.
The island was hit buy a monster of a hurricane about a year ago and they had to rebuild the whole lodge.
I’ve been there twice before – both times having the opportunity to swim with dolphins – so the island and the lodge are near to my heart.
I was therefor very pleased to see that the lodge has been rebuilt so well, that it even surpasses the ‘barefoot luxury’ of the past and that it still has to rank as one of the most wonderful island break away spots in the world.
